Many things have took place within a short time span.
Suprises + Shocks; all come at one go.

Maybe that's just part and parcel of life yeah?
& Since the day they knew about Him;
i was continuously being teased.
& suddenly i found myself saying the F word in irritant.
OOps! My bad.
Well, i seriously don't think that the F word is a gigantic taboo.
But; oh well.
Diff people have diff perceptions.
So yeah; i better watch out.
And so somebody told me about Mustafa Centre.
And somebody thought i was called SINKY instead of SITI.

Allah reminded me of how
everything is in His hands yesterday.
life & death.


how all's best in His hands.
it was pouring when prayers were done.
had it not been raining,
many will not be indoors offering du'as.

the skies turned clear and sunny and
allowed the burial process to go smoothly.

i woke up today feeling ever so grateful

to be given the chance to live for another day.

alhamdulillah.

despite having people who enjoy trying to

put my family and i down

despite getting headaches due to

conflicts happening around me

and knowing all these may never end.

but today, i'm grateful

to be given the chance to live for another day.

to live as a believer of Islam

to live as someone who loves Allah

to live as an ummah who misses Rasulullah.

afterall, Jannah is veiled in hardships & misery.

anyway, if this is friendship, i do not want it anymore.
i know people choose their friends
but i didn't know you also choose
when to be a friend and
on other days, a true example of a foe.
maybe friendships aren't my thing
that's why God made
my whole family and i so close.

i'm back.

exams ended last thursday evening.
the 3 weeks tested me in many ways.
mentally, psychologically, emotionally.
the first 3 papers were horrible.
one after another.
maybe i was already numb.
that's why i didn't feel as upset after the 4th paper.
& i ended the exams feeling alright.
not great, for sure.
just, fine.

exams for us university of london -lse undergrads in singapore
were held at singapore expo hall 7.
i don't know if those uol non-lse undergrads,
like the english lit or psychology people,
had their papers there too.
whatever it is, we had sim, stansfield college, acca etc.
uol-lse doing the paper together in the chilly hall.

before being allowed to enter the exam hall:

i came home and the first i did

was to watch tv.

i was in for a treat coz at that time

'the contender'

was shown on axn.

the boxing gurus on the show:

i wasn't much of a boxing fan

but this show made me into one.

i love it when the respective

the loved ones

will come down to the ring

to watch the match.

how they scream out words of encouragement.

clap hard and exclaim real loud when the win's on their side.

or when the one didn't make it,

they'll hold back tears and through those tears,

he is their winner.

i love it when some will reveal that

the reason why he wants to win the competition

isn't just because boxing is his passion.

it's because he loves his family.

and he would like to let them have

a wonderful life ahead

and to have enough money ready

for his kids to go to college.

i bought the straits times the other day.

wanted to look through the jobs available

on classifieds.

i went straight to the admin/accounts section

coz i know i'm a desk-person

and it's relevant to what i'm pursuing.

i believe discrimination issues were raised.

so they got creative and

got away with what they want

without having to put 'chinese/mandarin-speaking only should apply'.

funny how the same requirements were not needed

Really, I've been busy & so is Isolde.

Anyway, for the past week/(s), work has taken a toll on me.
I had a hard time trying to adjust to a correct work kinda sleeping routine.
I had to do self study about my work scope.
Had to make sure that i don't make blunders on my first week of work;
in which i already had.
Shiit.
So, where am i working you may ask?


Before you guys start to ask me for discounts,
no, i don't sell phones.
I'm on the Admin side okay?

I like my job.
Because ALL my colleagues are Guys.
Haha.
A good working experience in a Male environment.
Sort of test your confidence level and skills.
It's totally a different thing.
I'm glad i'm given this opportunity.

& i guess because of looking at 7 different males everyday for 8 hours;
i am officially infected with sore eyes.

on RTM 1.
Quite grand i must say.

Colombo is part of Sri Lanka.

& so it's a Happy Mother's day this Sunday.
Minus Dad, all of us headed down to KFC to have a
Pre-MD lunch together;
since Lil Bro(Monkey) did very well for his
recent Mid-Year examinations.
A good warm-up aggregate score before the actual PSLE though.
We're proud. :)

As for me, I'm a contented eater.

& since i was on my usual 'rounds' around my beloved Heartland,
might as well share with you something which has been my

& So i've been busy.
With what you may ask?
With lotsa stuff;
namely Movie marathon in the comforts of my own home & paying back lost sleep.
haha.
It's really good to sleep with no worries about unfinished readings and whatnots.
This 3 mths vacation is indeed well-deserved.
Although i still feel that i could have studied more;
if not for some distractions.
bleargghh..
okae okae, no use crying over spilled milk.

For some reason,
i'm over and done with you-tubing;
which is quite weird, considering the fact that
it has been a best study-break companion then.
hmm, so what went wrong?
I guess, i've spoilt my eyes enuff during school days that
now i can't stand staring at my lappie for too long.
Even if i seem to be online or so,
i would be terbongkang on the bed or just doing reading.
I also seen to lost the vibe of chatting.
Except with him of coz.

That said,
I'm not looking forward to 26th May;
in which my results would be out.
Somehow, i can hear the screaming C's hovering over my head
while im sleeping.
Scary i tell you.

I'm also currently jobhunting.
Oh well, siaperlah nak kasi duit during holidaes kan?
So must get a job and work my ass off..
Oh well, im 20 aniwae;
and for some reason most of my cliques from Sec School are
literally cashing in.

A couple of months ago,
a friend chatted me up.
He asked me,
"Why are you still wearing the Sisterlike Hood? I thought you were over and done with it?"

Well, don't be shocked;
apparently he refer to our Hijab as an equivalent to the Church's Nun's attire.
So i told him that public school's here do not allow the donning of Hijab;
accept our Madrasahs.
And that was why i was pictured head-naked in my school uniforms all along.

But that wasn't the issue.
The issue here is that i found an excerpt from the internet;
(mind you, this excerpt's writer is someone prominent.)
On the issue of whether wearing Hijab is compulsory;
he wrote this:

To wear the Hijaab is certainly NOT an Islamic obligatory on women. It is an innovation (Bid'ah) of men suffering from a piety complex who are so weak spiritually that they just cannot trust themselves!

& i found one which contains a song which i am still in love in.
Was searching for the music video on youtube,
& was impressed when a non-celebrity sings it.
In fact, i found two.
